Minturn Special

Steevo sent me an email asking if Minturn was in the Tour...FREAKY!




Minturn also sent an email about getting his VW stuck in a corn field somewhere in Iowa.

"Here's a photo of my car stuck after ian and I took a shortcut through
2 corn fields. We ran into a girl who asked her boyfriend to come out
and help. He and his dad showed up on a bobcat and towed us out. I
don't know what I would have done if we didn't get their help, since
the tow truck we called just turn away when he got there."

Stupid

This is what happens when you attempt to stop a chocolate lab running full steam at an oncoming car. It spins you down on to one knee. The whole ordeal wasn't as bas as this, but annoying none the less. During the course of 6.5 hours at the hospital, I had x-rays, a round of I.V. antibiotics, some nice irrigation and 4 staples. After that, the hole (5 cm wide) in my knee was some what back together.
